The JoBolt Story – Why We Do This
JoBolt started with a simple frustration: it was getting harder and harder to find shoes that were actually worth buying. Everything on the high street looked fine for a season and then fell apart. Leather that wasn’t really leather. Soles that gave up after six months. Shoes made as cheaply as possible and priced as high as the market would bear.
So we went looking for something better. We found it in Estonia — a small country with a long tradition of working leather properly. The craftspeople we partner with have been making shoes by hand for generations. They use full-grain leather, natural cork insoles, and genuine Vibram soles. They don’t cut corners because they take pride in what they make.
That’s what JoBolt is built on. We source directly from European makers, bring their work to the UK, and stand behind every pair we sell. No synthetic fillers, no misleading claims, no throwaway footwear. Just shoes that are worth owning — and worth keeping.
