Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 2026
Welcome to JoBolt. To ensure a smooth and transparent experience for all, we have established these Terms of Service. By using our website, you agree to abide by these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Return & Refund Policy.
1. Your Account and Registration
To access certain features of our platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide and maintain accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process. You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. Order Placement and Acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase a product. We reserve the right to accept or decline this offer at our discretion. Reasons for declining an order may include, but are not limited to, product unavailability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraudulent activity. If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
3. Pricing, Customs, and Final Totals
We strive to ensure that all pricing and product information on our website is accurate and up-to-date.
Checkout Price: The price displayed at checkout covers the product and standard UK delivery. It does not include UK customs charges where applicable.
UK Customs & Import Charges: Some JoBolt products are shipped directly from our European suppliers. Under UK law, goods imported from the EU with a value over £135 are subject to UK Import VAT (typically 20%) and a courier handling fee (approx. £12), collected by Royal Mail/Parcelforce on behalf of HMRC. These charges are not included in your checkout price and will be requested by the courier before delivery. Where applicable, estimated customs charges are clearly stated on the relevant product pages.
Pricing Errors: In the event of a significant pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and issue a full refund.
4. Returns and Refunds
Our return and refund process is governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy, available on our website. We encourage you to review this policy to understand your rights and obligations, including our 30-day return window for eligible items.
5. Acceptable Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website and services in a lawful and respectful manner. Any activity that disrupts the functionality of our website, compromises its security, or infringes upon the rights of others is strictly prohibited. This includes the use of automated systems or software to extract data from our website for commercial purposes without our express written permission.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of JoBolt or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our website without our explicit written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our website and all products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JoBolt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product in question. JoBolt is not liable for any UK customs charges, import VAT, or courier handling fees levied by HMRC or third-party carriers.
8. Force Majeure and Third-Party Carriers
We will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, or global supply chain disruptions. Third-party delivery companies (such as Royal Mail, DHL, etc.) are independent private entities. Once your order has been dispatched, JoBolt does not control their operational networks or delivery schedules and cannot be held legally liable for delays, losses, or service interruptions caused solely by these third parties.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to first contact us directly at admin@jo-bolt-store.net to seek a friendly resolution. We are committed to working with you to find a fair solution.
10. Governing Law
JoBolt operates from the United Kingdom and complies with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
